Roundness Measuring Table (RMT)

The RMT series rotary tables provide users with a new generation of high-performance air bearings. Through continuous research and development, ESS has successfully created an advanced rotary air bearing that further expands and complements the existing product portfolio.

In addition to standard radial and axial runout accuracies of less than 0.05 µm, this new bearing design offers an improvement of more than 300% in maximum tilting load capacity. The RMT series also incorporates the proven ESS cyclic error compensation technology, which significantly reduces periodically occurring errors through its innovative design.

When combined with the AES drive and control system, the RMT series provides a powerful, high-quality complete solution for demanding precision measurement and positioning applications.
