MTA

The MTA series air-bearing measuring table support is a valuable tool for precision metrology applications. These measuring table supports are based on standard air-bearing components derived from various ESS linear air bearing series.

The MTA-S measuring table support is designed as a semi-enclosed air-bearing system and therefore operates without the need for vacuum assistance. A prerequisite for its use is an air-bearing-compatible reference surface, which is typically manufactured from natural hard stone.

This design allows a component that has been moved into its measuring position to be precisely located and securely fixed in place by clamping the air bearing, ensuring excellent positioning accuracy and stability during measurement processes.
